This is happening due to the way the site is designed to run the transaction on your local DB which is on your computer, rather the server side. Essentially I've found if you have a lot less browser tabs open and unused programs on your computer, you can process them quicker, but still not fast enough when you need to fix 1000's of incorrect receipts categories, even longer when in wrong currency.
Using this program concept is cheaper for Foreceipt, as they use AWS, which charges by CPU usage, which makes it cheap for all of us.
If we can have a direct database connection to make these changes without the browser, it should be a lot faster. Some of us can create our own quick link changes and report tools not already available much quicker. I'd pay extra for the db direct connect feature.
