under expense category, instead of using colors to separate categories, how about icons, or a combination of the two?
for example, shopping category could be a grocery cart icon, food could be a pizza icon, gas could be a fuel pump icon etc...

Viewing receipt
When viewing receipt I feel the delete button should be somewhere else. If I were in a rush and clicked on the picture wrong I could lose all the information.

Balance tab improvement
Maybe implement some sort of option so you can see everyday balance în the balance tab not just the monthly one, it would be really helpful.

Payments to credit card should reduce balance
There is a serious flaw with the way credit cards are being handled. Purchases should ADD to the balance, payments should deduct from the balance. This should be the opposite of what occurs in cash/checking/savings accounts. This is basic accounting principles. I’m not quite sure how this is wrong and makes me wonder......

Refund receipts entered just as easily as purchase receipts. So an option for a positive “expense” vs a negative expense

OCR not working
Why after I scan a receipt with my phone it doesn’t perform the OCR? I remember it worked before but now it doesn't. Is it perhaps a premium feature?

Black and White or greyscale for scanned receipts / enhanced reports
I need to print my receipts at the end of the year. Color receipts (e.g. yellow paper with pen markings) don't print well on my laser. Can you offer and option to make the receipts black/white, greyscale, etc. That would make for much better printouts. Keeping a color copy as a backup would be a plus. See apps like turboscan for what i am asking for.
Also when the reports are created ideally a ledger of expenses at the top would be useful. For example if I need to print my fuel receipts for the year the printout would have…

I think it would really help if new category could be add directly from the new recipes window...

Receipt URL column in expense report
Add a link to the image in an exported spreadsheet. I am testing/using Foreceipt for work expenses claim forms, and this would save me having to compile and show the real paper receipts for proof.

Credit Card balance should subtracted from net worth, Expense should be added to expense
It seems like credit card expenses are being subtracted from the starting credit card balance?? This is backwards. If I enter a credit card balance, and add in expenses, it should ADD to the balance. And total should be subtracted from net worth since this is a debt. Major flaw and does not show balances correctly.....

Show expense category on scanned receipt
Hello - we are brand new users and thus far love what we see. My husband will take pictures of receipts and much of the time the default category is fine, but one can not see what the default category is for a newly scanned receipt without having to go to the receipt detail screen. If the default category would show with the vendor name, amount and date, then if the default is good, no further clicks are needed. It will also remind him to change it to the right category if it needs changing (now it is too easy…

Multiple payment methods
The option to put multiple payments (ie paid partially in cash and the rest with a credit card) and the ability to put how much each payment method covered (ie cash - $10, credit card $15)
