How to process PDF bank statement? (** New)

When you receive credit card statement or bank account statement in PDF, you can upload it to Foreceipt and quickly convert transactions in the file to Foreceipt expenses or incomes. In the process, it can help you recognize the expense category and identify potential duplications.

Here is the step by step instruction:

1. First, please pick the bank transaction file to upload as the following screen illustrated:

2. Once you have selected the file, please select the bank account for this statement, then submit:

3. Once the file is submitted and processed, you will see the below transaction view page for this file. All transactions from the file will be listed, category is auto assigned and potential duplication identified:

For those transactions with "Match Found in Foreceipt" set to Yes, you may click the "Yes" link to see the actual transaction; if indeed it's a transaction already entered into Foreceipt via other means, like scanning, you may simply delete the transaction or ignore it.

If you select some transactions and click the "Add to Foreceipt" button, you will come to the following screen. You can make any necessary changes, then add them to Foreceipt. Once added, these transactions will disappear from the pending transaction list for this file.
